4 shows and a failed ending. . . (Part 1 of ?)

Wow. . . .. it's been a buuuuusy assed weekend. . .
I've practically been walking around or standing up All day this weekend, i was sooo damn tired on sunday haha.
First i had that "Dries Van Noten" casting early thursday morning, i also had a phillips casting, but i had to blow off the DKNY casting :( because we will be on a trip on the day of the show. . . . and i really wanted to go to that casting >.<>.<>.< GOOD GOD!
hahaha well as much as i wanted time to slow down it refused to halt and instead increased it's speed just to mess with me, before i knew it, it was time to but on our first outfits. . . . . I was so nervous i wasn't even aware that 6-7 girls were getting naked around me in a very tiny and crowded room. . . . .many not even wearing a Brah . . .. . hahaha
Well, as the first models went out and the music was playing some nice soft song which i rather liked, i was nervously standing around waiting for my turn to be thrown out into the flashing of cameras.
And then came the time, boom, "Alex it's your turn get out there!"
shiiiiiiiiieeeet. . .. . . i walk out to meet a crowd occupying 2 floors of the mall. . .. . . .cameras were flashing from the left, right, front and above. . . . .. well i just went out and tried to pose. . . . i think my lips were quivering pretty heavily, causing the butterfly in my mouth to vibrate (I forgot to mention. . . . . i had to hold a butterfly with my lips. . . . .. plastic ofc. . . thanks for the increased gayness /cry) i also saw Cathy, and my grandparents in the crowd ready with their cameras hehe.
So I did my thing, walked to every platform and posed (This was my first time on a catwalk stage, so becuase i was so damn nervous i was walking veeeery quickly to each platform and posing veeeery briefly. . .like 1 second poses haha)
before i knew it i was back in the safety of my backstage, my whole body was quivering as i stressfully attempted to change into my next outfit. . .. . . .. .. . the speedos. . . .. AAAAAAAGH!
Once again, time seemed to speed up and before i knew it was was out on the stage with nothing but a black top hat with big black feathers sprouting from it, 3 tribal necklaces. . . .. . . and a tiny, tiny piece of elastic cloth covering only my privateparts. . . . .. . Wow. . .. . flashes were going off everywhere and i was exposing my hairy gorilla legs to the world . . . awesome. . . .
Also this time i walked veeery quickly and posed veeery briefly, and once again, before i knew it i was back in the backstage. . .. . however, the quivering had stopped, the panting had stopped. . . .. . . i felt like a giant weight had been lifted. . . . .It wasn't that bad afterall. . . infact it was pretty damn funny, i was cracking jokes about it with my "co-models" both male and female. . . .
The show wasn't over yet though, i quickly changed into my final outfit and did my thing out on the catwalk. Then came the finale where all the models walked out at the same time, did one round around the center platform and walked back into the backstage. The crowd cheered, the speakers yelled out "Thank you Models"
and when we all got back into the backstage everyone cheered and it was all over! :D. . . my first show that is hehe.
But the day wasn't over yet, after a photographer had taken a few pictures of all of us in the backstage, and we'd all changed back to our own clothes, all the guys quickly whiped off all the makeup with some wet wipes (No force on earth can make me wear that shit out in public).
Then me and Champ took farewell and a "See ya tomorrow" of the people backstage and exited. Outside we ran into my relatives and we talked for a bit, they offered to drive me home but i had to come back to the mall at 10 pm for a rehearsal regarding the shows on saturday.
So, to kill time me and Champ headed back to the place where we watched the movie earlier that day to see if we could catch another one. But no movies were going soon enough, so we headed to the arcade in the "Bugis Mall"
And i tell you. . . . . asians are completely insane when it comes to arcades. . . .. they have games i've never even dreamt of before, i remember this one game where there's a platform. . . . and a 40 year old man was putting cards on the platform and moving them around, on the screen each card was represented by one type of army. . . champ told me that the goal of the game is to move the cards around on the platform, hence directing the armies in the game and destroy the enemy wall. . .. . . simply amazing. . . . .And arcades in singapore are not like arcades in sweden, here almost all the arcade machines are connected to eachother, so if one guy is playing a game on one machine, he is most probably playing against a person sitting on the machine on the other side. . . . . Champ, was a reaaaaal gamer, he knew every game, and he palyed like the players so see on television. . . he was insane. . . . btu ooooh how much more insane many of the other players were. I Really couldn't believe my eyes when i was in there, their reactions are like none i have ever seen before. . .. it's like a black belted kung fu master x100
And the sickest of all the players in the arcade was a guy playing house of the dead 4 (One of those games whre you point a pistol at the screen and shoot)
This guy. . . .. . he didn't miss a single shot and he shot soooo fast. . .. . . . .. . i mean. . . . he had the kind of skills a freaking Navy Seals black ops super man special forces ass kicking heroe has in all these lame assed movies where the heroe never misses a shot no matter how sick it is. . . . .
Haha alright anyway, after we spent a few hours in the arcade (Champ seemed to have spent maaaaaany hours there, because he knew like every detail fo everygame hehe)
we headed back to the mall and did the rehearsal which didn't take very long. I rehearsed the winter show, and champ rehearsed the Garden show.
After that we said our goodbyes and i took the mrt home. . . or almost home
First the subway (MRT) went to a stop where everyone got off and was supposed to change subway line to the one heading home. People started running. . . and i was thinking "What the hell?. . .. might as well run as well"
So we were a big group of people, about 15 adults and me, just running like a big group of rhinos or something haha, i was laughing quietly for myself the whole run.
So, as i expected they were running to catch the last MRT going in my direction, and luckily we made it . . . all of us hehe
Well, at Clementi MRT (My station) i find that the buss home has stopped going so i begin walking. . . . .. . .. . . ..but for the love of god, i'm wearing jeans and i'm in singapore, and it was a long assed journey back. So after maybe 2 minutes i gave up, sweating like a waterfall, and signalled a cab to pick me up.
I got home anyway ;)
Well i have 3 more shows, 1 test shoot and 2 more days to write about, but right now i have to go to bed because they want me to go to some casting for some "Mr.Indonesia" contest. . . . . .. hahhah. . . ..
Stay tuned ;)
Love

Alex

Hey, sounds like your are a hit in Singapore, quite fantastic for a guy coming from cold, stiff, grey Sweden directly to the hot scene in Singapore which appears to be overcrowded with pros. As for being nervous, I wasn't able to button up my own shirt as my hands were like butterflies, and I did not remeber anything of how I was supposed to walk. So it sounds like you did great.
