Jewellery

Heeeeey!
whoooo got another job!
Today i woke up. . . went back to bed for an hour, woke up, got ready. . . left for a casting.
The casting was for a yuli jewellery show. Schtekig liten butique, in palaise renaissanse. . . . . . however you spell that. . . anyway it's a really schtek place where i had the gucci casting a long time ago, other stores in there are like louis vuitton, i had the DKNY fitting there and it's where all the really big and more exclusive brands are :P
As usual i was first and was just told to sit down.
Before long Ercan and some australian guy arrived, we talked for a bit, girls started flooding in, more guys came, i think i was the only asian person there haha.
Anyway, it was the biggest turn up since the castings for Gucci and Levis, the guys were saying so as well :P It began with the client taking our portfolios and going through them for like an hour. . . .
Then the girls began, they had to walk back and forth for the client in the middle of the room. . . . infront of everyone. . . .as usual. . . . Then it was the guys turn when all the girls were done. . . and i had to go first. .. . I got up told the group of guys "Man i fkin hate this part. . . " and did my walk in front of everyone haha.
I sat down and waited for everyone to finish and then i left with them.
Two of the guys had just arrived from perth in australia, when asked which agency they responded "Carries" hahaha i'm like oooh shit me to! and well i got their msn and i offered to take em out one of these nights :P
Hehe, As soon as i parted from them i recieved an sms from the agency telling me i got the job Whooooo i'm on fireeee i'm telling you it's my magic mustacho and beard!
haha, well i then went to the bank, cashed out a check, asked how much money i had to have to open a bank account and left for the agency.
At the agency Jane wasn't in, so i just kinda hung around with Kit, Ting and Monica. Sat and talked and talked and talked.
I also found out that i ahd been booked for a photoshoot for the Bridal Veil people. . . . sweeeeeet. Also 2 shows left hehe, one is in April which i've ALREADY been booked for!
It's goin pretty well for me hehe, but i want more shoots i told them, cause i wanna go japan and there you need a strong book :P
Well after sitting around for a few hours with them, i left to go eat some chicken rice by my lonesome. . . i also bought a t-shirt. . . . . then i came home. . . . and well. . . . .now i'm home hehe ;)
Well hope all is well with you guys!

Lotsa Love

/Alex

Congratulation Son on the jewelry show! Must be exciting to get that job when it is such tuff competition! When is the show? You said that you didnot like the part as to walking for the client, well just pretent that you are doing a show. All the other models are probably feeling just as nervous!!I remember that I was but I always try to concentrate on the clients and ignored the other models. Just do your thing the best you can because it is a competition as to see who gets the job. Dad says hi and he has already jumped into bed. Will call you tommorrow. Btw Auntie Greta says that she has received your email and that she appreciates it. Goodnight and God Bless! Hugs Mom

Hi Alex,

Yes, I really love travelling and I am so glad that I started early in my life. I was about you age when I first went abroad on my own - and rember that was quite some time ago and travelling was not that easy nor that cheap. Maybe sometimes we can talk a little about that when we see each other again.

Btw were you not a bit chocked by the fact that your "anti-computer game" godmother recommended you a site where you can find even more games that you already are playing??

Hope all is well with you (congrats to your successful castings) and Cathy and your grandparents. Give my love to them all.

Lots of love,
Lena
