Samsung Camera Launch!

Hahahaha here's my short little TV-commercial that airs all the time on channel 5 now, Which is like THE channel in singapore!

If you can't view, let me know and i'll send it via email ;)
Alright, on to today. . . or well let's start off with yesterday just briefly;
Oh btw, one more thing, the day before yesterday (Sunday) I spent the whole day with Khai walkin around checkin out elerctronics, we also watched the movie 10 000BC
Ok on to yesterday (Monday):
- I woke up
- Went to a "Training" for today's Event (A Samsung Digital Camera Launch).
- Got to the samsung building
- Awaiting me were a ton of girls. . . . and Chris
- Chris goes "I'm surprised they picked only us two out of all the guys that casted" MWAHA!
- So around 10 girls and me n Chris got called into a room where we spent the next 2 hours learning about our cameras. . .
- Each person was given one camera group, i was given the Systemkamera Group ;) mwaha, make farfar proud haha!
- Well. . . it was kind of a waste of time though. . . i mean we all got a booklet with all the point and shoot camera details on it, I on the other hand got a fat booklet on the Systemkamera XD Anyway, all the info was in that booklet. . . . which i studied later on in the evening :P (Hence my tiredness on the phone with you mom, please i don't mind if you call a bit more frequently. . . )
- Anyway, people started heading off when they had gotten their info, i stayed behind to ask if i could get special pris on one of their cameras. . . but it wasn't released yet in singapore :(
- I then walked to my gym accompanied by Maggie, one of the girls. . . she was a bit jittery but interesting nonetheless
- I continued to a fitting for another bridal show in orchard :P
- I then proceeded to the gym. . . completely unmotivated. . .. this whole day i was like on drugs. . . just tired :P so the gymming. . . well i kinda gave up after half an hour haha
- After this. .. . not sure. . . i guess i met up with the relatives and ate
Ok today (Teusday)
- Woke up
- Got ready for the samsung launch
- Walked to the bussstop, met another of my cousines
- Continued to Orchard
- Walked for like 15 minutes toward shangri-la hotel (Fancy schmancy)
- Went nr2 in the hotel bathroom. . . . hahaha
- Was escorted around the whole samsung utställning by the woman in charge:
Ok, so it's like this, the first room is big, has tables, food and beverages.
You then continue into the next room where the tour begins. This first Tour-Room has a boat and screens and fake water, in this room Zsofia took care of the camera and entertaining of the guests.
The second room was supervised by a girl from australia. . . .hmmm forgot her name. . . anyway it was for portrait and self-portrait images, so it had cameras, ställ, and pictures on the wall of people's faces.
The third room was occupied by Chris, a girl from our agency (I'm bad with names. . ) and a little girl called morgan. . . she was like 6 years old i believe. Anyway, this was for cameras in poor lighting situations, so Chris and co were pretending it was the little girls birthday, and they had a cake with a single candle lit on it hehe. Oh there was one more girl in this room that was to take the picture of the happy family with two different cameras and then compare the results for the audience.
The third room was for moi, yours personally, Me ;)
I was to act like a tourist, the background was the grandcanyon, i stood on a little platform and had SLR (System) Cameras set out all around me.
The fourth room was supervised by Nicole, another singaporean (All the girls except 3 were singaporeans) This was the HD camrecorder room, so she would be walkin around filming some guy rocking out on his guitar. (The video quality was to die for)
And finally the last room was a big open room with all the cameras on display, here the rest of the girls were walking about entertaining the crowd
- Don't worry, if you can't picture it from my descriptions, i've taken a photo of each room for you guys. . . . .inconveniently enough though. . . my camera loader is at the relative's place. . .. so i can't upload the photos tonight :( Sorry! Will upload tomorrow ;)
- After the tour, i was led upstairs to the room where we spent the entire day when NOT in the showcase area.
- All the girls were already there, veery very cute asian girls
- Later on Chris and Donnatella arrived
- We sat around for a bit. . . my call time was 11.30. . . . i didn't do ANYTHING until 1.30 .. . . whoooo. The girls were all doing makeup, and Chris got his hair done. . . . but i was to wear a strawhat, so i didn't need ANYTHING, makeup nor hairstyling :P
- Well didn't matter, sat around chatting with people
- We got duckrice for lunch
- All the girls were very very friendly and pleasant, i got long conversations going with the majority of them, it was a really pleasant crowd
- At 1.30, we got called down to the rooms we had been assigned
- We hung around in our respective rooms for ages. . . But it was a lot of fun, because the rooms were only seperated by some strings hanging from the roof, so we were all mingling about, i got to know my neighbour very well, i guess throughout the 9 hours at the event i spoke mostly with her, it was Nicole
- We also played around with the 6 year old, haha she was always running between mine and her own room, playing and dancing and. . . . well like a 6 year old, adorable :P
- Anyway, the show eventually started ofc, people were led through each room at a time before ending up in the big room with all the cameras.
- They were being led by a female MC
- Oh btw. . . outfits
Mine - a cowboy like outfit. . . you'll see what i mean
Chris's - Bright shirt. . . looking like a stereotypical dad
Chris's "wife" - a flowery dress, casual
Chris's "Daughter" - a little dress, looked like a little american girl
The asutralian girl - A bit more funky i suppose, with tights
Zsofia - Retro Retro Retro!
The rest of the girls - two pieced outfits, completely black or completely white, reminded me of the outfits the showgirls wear at F1 racing events etc. . . pretty hot haha
- Ok, so the crowd walked from room to room, they were pretty big crowds that squeezed into each room (A lot of japanese people hahaha!)
- Each model played their part
- I just had to pretend i was reading a map, looking at scenery, walked down from may little padio, grabbed the systemkamera, walked back up, snapped pictures everywhere.
- Between crowd tours (They only walked around in the rooms when guided by the MC, and there were maybe 4 tours with maybe an hour break between each crowd) i just hung out with Nicole and the other modles, played with the little girl. The little girl's mother was there as well, she was hilarious.
- After the final crowd tour we were allowed to leave. . . . wow 9 hours that's how long it was. . . btu i don't mind. . . no one minded. . . . we all had lots of fun and because everyone was so pleasant and fun, the time went by so quickly.
- I walked the long walk back to the mrt together with Nicole, the aussie and Zsofia
- Zsofia left us by the mrt
- The australian girl continued home on the mrt
- Me and Nicole went and ate a late dinner
- She invited me to her little sister's 18th birthday next week i think. . . . she's nice, i'll prolly see more of her
- And well. . . now i'm home. . . i took the buss to outside sunset way and took a LOOONG walk to wyle's place haha

Hope all is great with everyone! and i'll post pictures from today, tomorrow ;)

Lotsa Love

/Alex

Wow, cool commercial. You must have learnt a lot about photographing at Samsung, sounded like lots of fun. I am still at office (21.00) but its fun a lot of interesting things to do. Visited Paris last week to negotiate an agreement for Atlas Copco so moving around a bit again (but left home 5.30 in the morning and back 12.00 at night and only saw the airport and offices in Paris(:
Take care

Kon-nichiwa, Kon-chiwa Alex-san,
The former is more polite than the latter. In my youth, I heard Japanese youngsters said "Chiwa",I don't recommend.

About "personal trainer":
Are you thinking to make model-job your life time career? Then, it is motivated.
If not, don't waste money on it.
If you feel you are stepping on the same spot, not developing, then, forget model-job. Study at good university, get degree.

Anatano(your) shoorai-ni(Shoorai=future,ni=conjunction) kanshite(about,concerning),tugino(folloing) kotowo(koto=matter,wo=conjunctio)senjitu(the other day) scanner-de Okuta(okuru=send)kiji-ni(kiji=article)motozuite(motozuku=based) kakimasu(write).
The Unspecialized educations and without contact with working life make you difficult to get qualified job within your trained field.
The worst field is political science. Because this field is so wide ranged that clear definition of speciality is rather difficult.
Of course the education of wide range has its positive side: gives you many possibilities.
Biologists, political scientists, medie-communicationists are difficult to get jobs trained for in the present society.
The contact with working life during education-time is important. Those degree-holders who got good jobs say that they got valuable experiences and recommendations throu their contacts with working live during education.
Building-,machine-technique and law give the best chance to get qualified jobs. If you can have good contact with working life during education, the chance for you to get good job increases by 55% and starting salaries 900 krono higher than the avarage according to the Svenskt Närlingsliv.
Which university you study is important. For example, for economist, Sthl Univ. gives you the most favorable conditions.

Such is the fact of life, you must think deep, deeper, three, four, five times or more.
Kooun-wo inoru=kooun(good luck),wo(conjunction),inoru(pray).

Kenkoo(health)-wo daijini(take care), this means take good care of your health.
to sick people, you can say (odaijini).

Ganbare,
