Fashion Fest Fitting, Adidas casting & Bridal casting. . . .

Hellluuuu!
Well today (Monday):
- I woke up. . . no seriously i did!
- Got ready and left the house for my first stop of the day
- Took MRT to Redhill
- Walked to the fitting building
- Saw Chris sitting there, sat next to him
- More models started pouring in (The fitting hadn't started)
- After a short wait it was Chris's turn, shortly followed by mine
- Inside the office the designers, stylists and coreographers were sitting
- And well what do ya know?! On Haji Lane there is a shop called "White Room" which me and Joel visited MANY times, we got along well with the shop owners and even got invited to their show during fashion festival. . . guess i got front row seats seeing as how the designer of my first outfit is them haha! And to make it even more crazy, the shirt i'm modelling is the same shirt Joel bought just a few days ago! hahahaha
- My second outfit was made by a guy that looked japanese, i'm also going to be the one opening this show
- We were 15 male models i think, the girls i suppose had their fitting at another time
- It took a long time though, because we had to wait about an hour for people who came late. . . ah well, i had time to kill anyway, becuase i had a casting at 2.30pm also in red hill.
- Chris's dad was also in singapore, visiting. He's and older man now, kinda reminded me of Shawn Connery. . . We got a long well and talked about a lot of stuff. . . after the fitting he insisted he buy me lunch ahha. And he really liked me, so he ended up telling me that it was a real pleasure meating me and that if i'm ever in Perth i'm more than welcome to stay with them.
Sweeeet, now i have a place to stay if i ever head to australia XD
- After the lunch, i took farewell of Chris and his father, and headed to the casting
- The casting was for Adidas, Kit told me it was not walking distance from Red hill mrt so i grabbed a cab (I walked back to the mrt after the casting though XD. . stingy stingy)
- At the casting there were only 4 of us, we put on some smart clothes and we were given a golf club.
- We were told to walk and then putt, and then act as if we won the game. . . . this was jsut a casting for a catwalk though, . .. wierd
- Anyway, after that casting i headed to Tanjong Pagar where i had my second casting of the day. . . .for another bridal show hahaha
- The suit i was put on was probably 4 times to big for me. . ..
- After the casting i headed back home and plomped my ass infront of the computer.
- I got an sms from Ting telling me that i got that job i casted for a long time ago. . .. guess which one? that big one on the rooftop bar, where i had to act "Sexy and Seductive" HAAAAAAAAAAAAH!. . . . mest lol. . . Btw, it's pretty cool because this will be the finalé party of fashion festival ;)
- After a while at home, Cathy called and we headed to the club for dinner.
- Cold crayfish apitizer, lamb meat for main course and a desert buffét XD
- The desert was awesome, lotsa of shiet, fruits, japanese "mochi", chocolate fondue, almond cake etc etc.
- After the dinner we headed home and here i am writing in my public diary XD

Well hope all is well with you guys!

Lotsa Love

/Alex

PS.
Farfar
Japanese food and mexican tex mex, my favorite food! I've recently begun buying cheap japanese food at the local food courts, such as bentos and what not :D LOVE IT!
I can just imagine how much a fine japanese meal must cost XD
Oh i didn't know dad used photo editting programs? Dad, if you read this. . . recommend something ^^
And ofc P&S will not suffice, when i give others the camera to take pictures of me and my friends i do set the camera to auto though. . . but when i'm behind the camera it's full manual that counts! :D I find it more fun anyway hehe
I know how you feel, a good meal always slows me down. . . . but it's so worth it ;)
Angående snus, Don't worry, i only asked mom to bring one dosa, i don't know why she always has to exagerate everything. . .
But anyway, i don't really see snus as a harm to neither me nor anyone else in my vicinity, it's not even proven it causes cancer. . .. but i'm obviously not a harmfull snuser considering how i've been in singapore for 7 months without snus now, i just thought it'd be fun to have a dosa over here. Save your worrying for cigarettes and real drugs instead, alcohol is much more damaging, and i've cut that down to nearly nothing, so don't worry. . .. mom. . .. jeeez. . .
Lotsa Love! hälsa farmor!

Genki desuka? Alex-san,
I must defend your mom regarding your accusation of her.
It was I who took up Snus and our favorite Man,Alex at the brunch.
I was surprised when I read Lena's comment on snus. I thought it must be some misunderstanding, I couldn't belive that you, very intelligent young man, started to use snus.
We all at the brunch table had a same opinion about snus, yes, harmful to human being. I have not read an article on snus in mass media, saw some headlines saying "snus is as harmful as smoking". The future medical doctor at the table said "snusing can cause blindness".
Do you want to loose eye-sight? Then how can you appreciate beautiful girl?
I was a smoker from your age. In order to quit smoking, I tried cigar, snus everything except any medial means from 1970, finally managed it in 1975. It was not at all easy, I failed many, many times. snus smell awfull, looks dirty. I hated it but could not quit it so easily.
We worry over you because we love you. We all hope you will be healthy and succed in what you are doing.

I do wish you stop snusing.

A lot of love,
Ivar

Whoa, great getting all the good jobs. I love your pictures of buildings and stuff, great compositions. That japanese place Yosh... we ate at a number of times in Japan. In Japan you can get really good cheap food, I know, Dan and I always went for that when we didn't get invited. Btw, weren't you gona cut eating, sounds like you are devouring food. I have at last got over a cold and will now start training for my half marathon in Gothenburg in May, don't know if I have enough time to train. As relates photo editing programs, have a few, tried i.a. Adobe Photoshop but it was so complicated that I got fed up. Simplest is picasas but the problem is that it is too simple. Tried another one also which was quite good, don't remeber the name, will see if I find it.
Best reg

Yes if the truth be known, in some moments I can say that I approve of with you, but you may be making allowance for other options.
