A Bed of Flowers, URBAN Shoot and TVC Casting

Helluuu!
Quick description of yesterday (Monday) ;)
- Woke up
- Went to a casting for a Giordano Print Ad (I stressed because i found out the shuttle bus from wyle's palce was taking a break during the time i needed it XD, i ended up paying for three different cabs. . . . . )
- When i got there. .. . turns out i had to wait for about 30 minutes before it was my turn :P. . . . retarded. . . . i should've known. . . ah well met a LOT of friends
- During the casting we had to look happy and energetic, throwing our arms up in the air and whatever. . . .
- Afterwards, i headed to the agency, where there were quite a few models around
- After a while of chill, i headed to DBS bank with Andersson and Mark from canada
- After cashing out our weekly allowance checks, me and Mark headed downstairs for some subway (Andersson has apparently completely stopped eating carbs, he barely eats at all apparently. . . . yet he's buff already haha)
- Mark is a new model from Canada, talked with him a little bit before, but now during lunch i found out he's an awesome guy, funny and he looks like tom cruise XD. . . but taller
- After lunch. . . i headed home i believe. . . . no wait. . . i headed to Joel's Favorite, Haji Lane to check out some pants i wore during a show and consider buying
- Walked to the shop "White Room" Talked a bit with the designer/Shop owner, tried on a few pairs of pants. . .. ended up not buying anything hehe.
- Before i left Haji Lane, the shop owner offered me a tour around haji lane haha, so she took me to a few shops, i met some of her friends, she's great (I later that day got invited to her birthday party next thursday)
- THEN i headed home ;)
- Ate hard bread and ham for dinner :P too lazy haha

Today (Teusday):
- Woke up early for a photoshoot for "URBAN" (For the cover amongst others! My first cover :D, gonna be put up in the agency, whoo! I've left my mark hahaha, one of my goals before leaving singapore, accomplished ^^)
- Ended up slacking around on the internet before i realized the time was 8.51am. . . . i had to catch the 9.00am shuttle bus or i'd be late . . .
- I quickly as hell packed, fixed my hair, ran outside. . . realized i'd forgotten my mp3 earplugs. . . .ran back inside. . . ran back out. . . made it ;)
- I grabbed a cab from CommonWealth MRT Station to Dempsey Road
- Walked around for a bit searching for "8D" whatever the hell that was. . .
- Turns out it's a spa XD
- I walk to the spa.. . . .. see no one i know, walk around. . . call Vik, he asks why i'm so early. . . .apparently i'm supposed to be there 45 minutes later than i heard from the agency. . . oh well. . . what to do?
- Took out my camera and ran around for a bit. . . . i was sweating more than ever. . . . unbelievably humid today. . .. sweat was just dripping everywhere. . . .my grey tshirt turned a darker shade XD
- Eventually, Joe Cho and a Stylist arrived, they asked if i knew how to get in. . . i didn't
- Vik came. . .. he didn't know either
- After a few calls and a bit of waiting, we finally got inside. . . .the place didn't look like much from the outside but the inside was pretty cool
- We walked into a room, with bad airconditioning. . . . and Relaxing music playing in the background haha
- I sat around, while Joe got her makeup done
- 3 Students walked in, seems like they were students from a fashion school, they had made a few costumes (Was for girl clothes for Joe. . .. not for me ;)
- I didn't need any makeup, and the hair stylist. . . did her thing
- Turns out the shoot is for organic clothes or something like that, so I would be wearing one designer outfit, one Adidas outfit and one Banana republic outfit (All organic clothes :P)
- I was told to get into my first outfit
- They apparently hadn't sent any shorts (Luckily i had mine so i was told to just wear those XD)
The top. . . . was white, long armed. . . .. . but sooooooooo tight. . .. . i needed help to put it on, and help to take it off. . . that's how tight it was XD
I also wore some organic shoes :P
- We walked to a location within the spa for the first shoot, i held Joe's hand and we stood in a hallway
- Walk back to the first room, change outfit
- Second outfit was the adidas one

- Walked to the second location. . . pretty much in the same hallway, just another part
- I sat down and Joe sat down next to me, leaning against me as if i were a wall :P
- Walk back to first room, change outfit
- Third outfit was the banana Republic one (Remember Banan Republic? The schtek american brand? I hosted their show once?)

- This time, the setting was in the room we had done hair and makeup
Me and Joe just stood up against a wall next to eachother
- Change outfit
- Back to the first outfit (The one with the tight white t-shirt :P)
This time i had to wear some wierd assed shorts though, which Vik hated XD. . .. the rest of us just laughed at it hehe
- Then we headed outside
- Me and Joe were to lay down in a bed of flowers XD We also got flowers sprinkled over us haha XD Hippies. . . This was the cover shot btw, i'm laying next to her holding her in a bed of flower pretty much :P
- Anyway, it was hot as hell. . . i was sweating my ass off :P
- After a while we were finally done and i got to go back to the first room, change and leave (Joe still had to do the Fashion student's outfits)
- I left for the agency, because i figured it'd be unworth it to head home despite the fact that i was pretty close home. . . . but because of the fkin shuttle bus :P
- At the agency i hanged around for a bit, helped Ting fix some ukrainien guy's laptop, which apparently his girlfriend had broken XD (This is another new model, never met him before. . . .despite his terrible english he seemed friendly)
- I had to steam a shirt i borrowed from the ageny for a casting i was going to (My shirt's are at the grandparents house, i'm at wyle's house. . . the shirt i got to borrow was terribly ugly haha)
I was also given a pair of glasses Kit wanted me to wear
I also had to gel my hair back. . . .
- The reason was because i had been shortlisted for a Tvcommercial for some tissue brand :P And they were looking for "Young Fathers" .. . . . . yeh. . . . ok . .. .
- I left the agency and headed to the casting
- Outside the casting i met one of the korean girls. . . . whom i have forgotten the name of (There are three koreans in our agency at the moment, probably the hottest girls in the agency at the moment as well XD)
- We walked inside, saw Bebe sitting in a sofa waiting for the casting to start.
Bebe is a girl from Mongolia, she's cute! And she's very receptive to my retarded humour hahaha! I like her. . .
- Anyway, later on the second Korean model from my agency arived, she's freakin hot haha! Eurasian, like me. She's seems really friendly as well.
The First korean chick, i wasn't too sure about, she seemed a bit full of herself, but today i found out she's pretty alright as well ;)
- Well we sat around for a while, me and the three girls. . .. eventually the casting started and Bebe went first, then the first korean chick, and then i let the second korean chick go before me because they had another casting after this. . . i myself had nothing ^^
- I took farewell of the girls and finally started my casting (I had changed into jeans, the haggard assed shirt i got to borrow from the agency and a different pair of shoes. . . . forgot to use the glasses though XD We had spent like an hour trying to fix my hair at the agency earlier that day. . . troublesome hair :P)
- The casting woman agreed that the shirt sucked haha, but as usual you don't ever really need to bring anything to a casting. . . they usually have their own, so i was allowed to change into their shirt, and put on a Kavaj Jacket. . .. looked a LOT better :P
- So first was a short introduction, name, height, where i was from, whatever
- Then i had to walk from one end of the room to the other, just casually enjoying the day or whatever hehe
- Then i had to walk again. . . but this time i was eating a sandwich and holding some portfolio :P
- After that, i was to walk, still eating my sandwich. . . Act as if i'd noticed that i accedentally dirtied my jacket with the sandwich and look a bit pissed
- After that, i was to do pretty much the same thing, but this time i was pretending i was sitting down on a bench, then after i smudged my jacket, i was to look up and confused pretend that a girl was handing me a box of tissues, whipe the smudge off, smile at her, realize that i was in a hurry and run away XD
- That was it! Took some time, we did a few retakes here and there. . .. never really understood where the "young father" part comes in. . . but yeh. . . was fun haha
- I changed back into shorts and t-shirt and left
- On my way to the mrt i stopped to take some pictures of some stuff, i was standing pretty close some police head quarters or whatever. . . A police gaurd walks up to me and asks if i'm taking photos of the police building, i said nope (Ugly assed building anyway. . . )
I had to delete one of the photos though :( Because it contained a tiny little corner of the police building. . . fkn retarded. . . but yeh whatever
- I left for home, ate at "Botak Jones" at Clementi MRT. . .. Yummy. . . .
- Took shuttle bus home, and now i'm here!
- Btw! I got a msg from AADB.
This time the message came from Ling, at Fly entertainment agency. . . . which just so happens to be the biggest actors agency in singapore, representing all of the celebrities XD
She wanted to see me for hosting a program. . .
I told her i'm sorry but i'm leaving singapore in a month, and wish she had found me earlier. I also mentioned that i was heading to HK and Japan.
She replied and said it was ok, i should come pop by the office anyway for a bit of casting or whatever, she said she may have a job for me in HK in august. . . MWAHAHAHHA!

Haha it's a lot better, been out and about, still got a blocked nose and a cough though.

Both me, kimmy and the majority of my friends have been hooked on that game at one point or another XD
Watch out though, it's a really addicting game! Felix and Rasmus STILL play it every waking hour of their lives hahahah XD. . . no not that bad anymore, but they still paly it haha
Amazing, AMAZING game none the less. . . . Once you get a taste you won't be able to quit!
Company of heroes! I bought that game in Kuala Lumpur, not sure if i've tried it yet though. . . Is it a first person shooter (Where you walk around with a gun, aim and shoot people)? Or is it a strategy game?
If it's the game i'm thinking of. . . wait yeh it is, then it's supposed to be amazing, i haven't tried it yet though :( Borrowed it out to Ting at the agency XD
That game apparently has extremely detailed events from the second world war, everything from the characters names, personalities, to when they died in real life (They die under the same circumstances in the game). All the places are carefully detailed to maximum recreation, sounds awesome!
hahaha yeh, it's an unending brawl against the never ending zerg of computer problems. . . .sigh. . . .
