Ok yesterday (Wednesday):
In the morning i got a casting call while i was still happily sleeping. . . i'd been shortlisted so i couldn't say no haha
I got reluctantly got ready and headed off to a building called Tower 15 (Yes.. . . first time i had a casting there i was confused as hell. . . ran around to all nearby buildings asking for it. . . thought it was a mistype mixed with the floor nr. . .)
Anyway, got the visitors pass and headed up to floor 27.
Been here before a few times.
Sat down, i knew the drill, asked for a form to fill out, instead i was told to follow a guy into a room where the casting would take place.
We talked and got a long very well, turns out he was interning and was only 19, both him and i were shocked at eachother's age haha
Anyway, during the casting i had to look into a camera and just talk about whatever comes to mind. . . . gotten good at this by now haha.
I mentioned i was heading home the 1st of june. . . .the guy said. . .wait. . . you leave the 1st of june?
Apparently the shoot was the 13th of june. . .. .. .. . he appologized and i told him no problem. . . and left haha
Headed to the agency, picked up a job voucher for a photoshoot i had scored for the next day, called Alan, he told me to meet him at Suntec city.
I ran downstairs and grabbed a subway wrap sandwich which i ate on my walk to suntec.
At suntec i was told to go to a french supermarket called Carrefour, where i was supposed to look for car oil for Alan. . . I complied and began my long assed walk through suntec city (Me and joel have learnt to hate this confusingly huge shopping mall)
I finally found Carrefour and called Alan. . . he was apparently there as well. . .a fter a bit of walking around looking for eachother i found him.
He bought his car oil and we headed for his car.
We drove to his house where we chilled for a while before he switched on a chinese movie called. . . . eeuuuhm m m . . . . something like "Curse of the golden flower" or something like that. . . he said i had to see it, it was about the chinese emperor and the fueds that were going on between the family members. . . was pretty good! A Bit wierd but. . . surprisingly i enjoyed it haha.
After a while a boy about 23 years old arrived, apparently a friend to Alan, His "Godson in Singapore"
He seemed nice and we got along well, after a while we headed out to the car and embarked on our journey to Kallang shopping mall.
Once we arrived we walked upstairs and ate japanese food.
It was pretty cool, you get a table, then you get up and walk around in a room with little glasses placed out, in the glasses were icecream sticks with various labels on them.
I grabbed a Chicken Teriyaki don and a coca cola float stick. I also grabbed a bit of sushi.
Then we headed back to the table and waited for the food to arrive.
It was a satisfying meal!
After the meal (We talked about how important it is to travel and see the world so you don't get bottled up and think the rest of the world is like what you've experienced and blablablabla, interesting topic haha, spoke a lot about this with Baykal as well)
We headed to the indoor ice skating rink, just to check it out. . . was nice breathing some really cold air again haha.
Afterwards we headed down to the lower floor where we met their third friend, also a young man, who seemed to have just come from the office.
We went to a coffee shop and ordered drinks, they ordered desert as well. . . i was too stuffed. . .
They were all entertaining people and i had a really good time, and i'm very glad i got to see Alan again!
He dropped me off at bugis mrt, i took the mrt home. . . walked from the clementi mrt station because the buses had stopped going.. . . But it's alright as long as i have my music with me ;)
Ok next day, which is today (Thursday):
I woke up, and embarked on a 2 hour journey to Yio Chu kang mrt station. Been here several times before, it's where the mediacorp office and studio is located.
Today i discovered something which has taken me 9 months to figure out. . .. .. . If i walk really slow. . . i don't sweat. . . . the walk from the mrt station to the mediacorp office is long and usually under heavy heavy heat. . . i always arrive with a completely soaked t-shirt and i often change in the bathroom before presenting myself hahahhaa!
Today's weather was no exception. . .. . however, i was more than half an hour early. . . so i walked very lethargically toward the office. . . and i realized i didn't sweat any at all. . . jsut a teeny weeny bit hahahaha. . .took me 9 months to figure this one out!
Anyway, i arrived at the office, showed myself into the studio and just kinda hung out for a while.
Darren the stylist was busy steaming clothes.
Eventually the makeup stylist arrived, same girl who had done the makeup for the imm shoot.
And she started doing her thing. . . . She always puts on so much :(
(And i alway whipe it all off. . . . hahaha)
while i was getting fixed up a woman walked in, looked pan-asian like me, but was apparently fully brazillian. . . figures. . .
She was going to be my girlfriend for the day. She was very pretty, but didn't hit it off with her instantly as i did with the canadian girl during the imm shoot.
After i got my makeup done, it was her turn and i just kinda hungaround in a sofa while waiting.
Eventually she finished off and the entire team got into cabs and drove off to Holland village, to a lebanese restaurant.
I walked in first and the chefs had prepared some dishes and they were talking with the director of the shoot.
We waited for a while, So far only me and Darren had arrived.
Soon enough the makeup stylist and the female model arrived. Now i started talking with the model, her name was Marcella, and she turned out to be absolutely delightful! Now we hit it off haha ;) One of the most pleasant brazillian female models i've met.
Before we knew it, it was time to get into our first outfits, i was first. I was wearing some fancy schmancy pants and a grey shirt.
She was wearing. . . a wierd looking dress. . . . anyway so there i was sitting with my 25 year old girlfriend in a lebanese restaurant.
We were sat down at a table where the food, cutleries, plates etc had been carefully arranged in specific orders.
We sat next to eachother in a corner of a sofa, i was told to hold a glass, and we were told to look really happy and casual and blablabla. So we just kinda sat, talked and interacted with eachother while the camera went off continuously. (Big smiles)
Done! Time for her second outfit. I was to remain in my first out fit. I was then told to go stand by the door opening and kinda lean against the door, while holding a plate of olives as if i were about to eat them. At the same time i was to look contemplatingly outdoors. . . . hahahahhaha i'm sure the picture will turn out nice, but it felt really stupid posing there while all the people outside walked past hahahhahaha
finished! I got into my second outfit, came out again and saw that it was her turn to do something by the door. Now she had a nice purple dress on, i told her she looked like a greek damsel in destress. . . reminded me of disney's hercules.
My second outfit. . . was like Wtf. . .
A white tröjja with a huuuuuge freakin urringning (As if i didn't feel gay enough with the makeup. . . oh btw they shaded my beard because she looked older than i did hahaha)
And i also had a pair of really big assed white pants. . . . oh well. . . it usually looks good in pictures. . .. i'll jsut leave it up to the stylist :P
This time i was supposed to just sit down and look up at her as she sat on the table above me with some plate in her hand, i held a glass of some sort. We changed positions several times, from me holding her standing up, to sitting down here, then there, then there, until the finally decided on one spot hehe.
So i just kinda admired her pretty face and smiled while the camera was taking pictures :P. . . . easy moeny XD
done! She was told she was completely finsihed, so she went and changed.
I had one more shot, i was to hold a bowl of salad up infront of me and sprinkle garnish over it. . .. . . i felt retarded. . . but yeh whatever haha
then i finished as well and i changed.
I thanked everyone (Had gotten along and talked a lot with pretty much everyone in the team, so it was a really fun shoot) and then headed for home. . . . wherever home was. . .
I walked for a bit. . . sat down, drank some green tea, backtracked a bit until i see Marcella standing in Watsons buying some toiletries. . . i walk in and talk abit, ask if she knows of any nearby mrt stations (I needed directions :P) She pulled out her Street directory which i had forgotten at home, and i checked it out. She said she was going to the mrt as well so we walked together, was kinda far, but not that bad.
She seems pretty damn smart as well. . . applying for Architectural design at one of Hong Kong's top universities. . . interesting. . .
Well we arrived at buona vista mrt station and we grabbed the same mrt to raffles place.
I really liked her! She was really nice, we bid farewell and apparently she'll be in the same agency as me in hong kong during the same months, so i'll be seeing more of her.
I headed to the gym and she went home.
After the gym i met up with the relatives, susan and fred in chinatown where we ate peking duck for 75cents. . . . a promotion, if you buy food for 75 dollars haha. . . so worth it, i ate like a pig XD
After that we headed home. . .and here i am!
Well that's about it. . . tomorrow i don't think i have to do anything. . . we're in crisis mode about my visa though. . . the agency says not to worry they're gonna apply online for an extension tomorrow so hopefully that's fixed :P

I was feeling great today though. . . was walking on clouds. . . felt amazing, filled my ipod with new songs, and sms:ed with Claire in jakarta. . .. made my day hehe
