Not much been goin on!

Hellooo
Well. . . not much has been going on actually. . .
Claire and I did go to Ikea though! haha
We bought candles, sill, kalles kaviar och hårt bröd!
Sillen räkte till senare den kvällen. . . sen vart den redan slut, riktigt gott vare haha gonna go buy some more later ;) it's teh mustard sill!
Other than that i really haven't been doing much at all.
I had a casting for Levi's which took like 2 hours, hopefully i get the job.
Today i walked to my first casting which was for some shoe fashion show. On my way there i saw Bruno and his twin brother looking at a map. We were all headin to the same casting so with our combined map reading skills we eventually found the place.
Quick, simple casting, just put on the shoes, walk back an forth, give them you compcard and your out!
Bruno and Leo waited for me, and we headed to mcdonalds for lunch. We also spent the next hour just farting around mcdonalds because we had another casting at 2.30pm, which was a while away.
At about 1.30 we left mcdonalds and headed to the next casting, which was for Seibu.
Hehe Leo and Bruno are fun, they're twins too! Gonna meet em tonight, but after the casting we parted ways and they headed home.
Oh btw, remember Champ from Singapore? He called, he's apparently in hong kong right now :D
Gonna meet up with him tomorrow night!
After the Seibu casting, i headed to causeway bay and looked around in shops, i bought 2 t-shirts. . . i needed a new white v-neck because mine is so gross haha.
Well now i'm back home. . . i think i'm going to head down and buy some vitamins when i'm done with this .. . . Claire's still at work. . . . she works pretty much everyday, i don't think anyone works as much as her. . .. no one i've met anyway!
Haha she had a show for Yves Saint Laurent last night, she came back at 1am, and omg her hair was like a helmet! Every girl in the show had to wear a black wig, with black lipstick. So they put so much gel in her hair. . . never seen anything like it haha.
She has work tomorrow as well haha
Weeeelll. . . . .. . . .that's about all that's been happening lately. . . .

I don't recall ever buying any ink for a printer :/ Was going to buy for dad's printer but he beat me too it.
Yeeees, light pictures look better on a black/dark background, while dark pictures look better on a brighter background, but it is easier to read with this layout, maybe i can find something in between. . .
Yeeeeh, i was talking with bruno and leo today and they said the olympics messed this entire month up .. . so hopefully it's true what everyone says, september is going to be better!
As for studies i'm already in the process of applying for various courses as various universities.
Uni's in both lund and stockholm.
Still computer problems?! When does it end my poor grandfather?!

Well i have not been very into the olympics this time, i've had other things to occupy myself with hehe But one of my female friends is crazy in horses and she apparently went to the big event. . . . i myself had no idea they were holding that in hong kong haha!
Yeeeeeeeeeeeeh, work sucks here hehe, but i'm having a lot of fun so i can't complain!
Claire is considering staying till the 15th of october, so i'll see what i do. . . i was actually hoping to stay in hong kong till the end of october and then spend 2 months in singapore. . . . because i mean i've seen everything in singapore like 50 times already :P
I was also considering heading off to thailand for work. . . . .. . . .. . . .well seems like time will be getting a bit tight in that case hehe.

Discovery Bay

Hellu!
Well. . . still no work nor castings hehe, but i have been to discovery bay atleast! Oh and an 80's Party haha.
Discovery bay:
Claire and I woke up one morning and stayed in bed till like 2pm which is when we were supposed to meet Aleksandra and Kaspar at Palace IFC.
We came a bit late so they were a bit pissed off but that quickly blew over haha.
Neither claire no i had eaten breakfast yet though. . .
We walked to the ferry pier and grabbed a ferry over to Discovery bay, on Lanthau Island.
As soon as we arrived i grabbed a small mcdonalds burger with french fries and coke.
Claire ate most of the fries and i ate the burger, during the promenad up a long road toward a waterfall Kaspar used to play in when he was about my age.
Discovery Bay is like. . . the Island of the white man. It looks a lot more western and the majority were probably westerners as well hehe.
It was nice, felt a lot calmer and fresher, kind of reminded me of the times back in america. . . but with highrise appartment buildings, and ofc more intense heat hehe.
Well after a bit of a walk up the road, Kaspar showed us a place where we had to climb over a fence and walk a bit off road jumping from rock to rock over a tiny tiny stream. Eventually the rocks ended and we waded barefoot in the stream, had to be a bit careful though because the stones were a bit slippery in the water.
Claire and especially Aleksandra were having problems haha, lagged a bit behind, had to lend a helping hand :P. . . . girls. . .
Well we finally got up to a tiny rainfall with families swimming around in the pool of water where it waterfall fell into. . . . .. actually i wouldn't call it a waterfall. . . just a fast stream of water flowing down a crack in a big rock i guess hehe. Wasn't higher than say 3 - 5 meters :P Nothing like in norway really hehe.
Well the water felt amazing after that sweaty hike. . . . uugh i loved it! so cooling, it was like laying in "Loftet" at our country house, waiting for the heat to become unbearable, then run down to the water and jump in.
After a while of playin around in the mini waterfall and pool of water, we started climbing upwards.
After a short climb we found another waterfall, and here there was no one, but us. That was niiiiice.
After the swim, we headed back to the ferry pier and headed back to hong kong island.
The reason we headed back so early, was because Kaspar offered to take us to the club his father owns in hong kong (He's freakin loaded! i mean like LOADED!) I wonder how i keep meeting these people. . .
ANYWHO!!!! We took a cab to the club which was about halfway up towards the peak me and Claire checked out before.
Apparently there's a 5 year waiting list to join the club and the amount you have to pay to become a member. . . was something insane hehe. (Yeh it's not a nightclub, it's a . . . club. . .like in singapore)
Well we walked in, sat down at a table ordered food, I got a sirloin steak with white wine, Claire got grilled salmon with white wine, Kaspar got the steak and Aleksandra got the salmon.
After the meal which was delicious (The Mustard burnt like wasabi), we headed to the youth room and fooled around for a bit. I played Kaspar at table tennis and got completely CRUSHED, then i crushed everyone at the foozball table, and then i finally got completely crushed at table hockey :P
After the games we headed to the Club's Sports bar and i crushed everyone in Pool. Finally we all sat down to watch the ending ceremony of the olympics, i went through a few beers as well.
The reason i had to hang up on you mom was because the manager was sitting opposite us and kaspar told me mobile phones were prohibitted. . . so i wasn't trying to avoid the call hehe ;)
After the Long freakin closing ceremony Claire and I headed home.
Before we went home though we stopped at the kebab place and i bought another kebab roll mwahahahhahahhaha looove it! I've said this before, n i'll say it again, one thing that was up there on the "Miss-from-home-list" top in singapore, were Kebab Rolls!!!!! So i'm eating shitloads here :D
After the kebabroll, Claire bought some sorbet from the Hagen Das, and i bought some "Fish food" Icecream from the Ben n Jerry's. . . .. . trust me. . . if you haven't tried fish food. . . do it now. . . no really. . . go buy some NOW. . . . NOOOOW!!! I'm all for vanilla, it's ALWAYS vanilla, but in this case, fish food is an exception, that icecream is TOO good. Melted marshmallows, little chocolate fishes and the most scrumptious chocolate those receptors on your tongue will ever have the pleasure of forwarding to your brain.
After this oral orgasm we both headed home for some sleepy time.
This morning we woke up. . . actually, Claire woke up and headed off to a casting -> fitting -> photoshoot. . . . . . .. . . .. . .. . .. .i had NOTHING!. . . . . NOTHING!. . . . . shitbags. . .
Well at around 1pm i got ready and headed to central to meet claire for lunch at "Kosmo". It's this health freak cafe thing, they serve all kinds of health enhancing drinks, slushees, juices, etc. The food is the same.
I settled for Meatballs + pasta with a drink containing various chinese herbs + various fruits :P Supposed to help my immune system. . . .yay. . .
Claire went for Chickpeas, kidneybeans, corn, etc salad. . . pretty much what we've been living on here at home.
Well it was filling and hey i guess it's healthy so i can't complain ;) Tasty with some meatballs again as well hehe.
Afterwards we headed to Claire's agency so she could pick up a job voucher, then back to central where we headed to H&M for some shopping.
I ended up buyin a grey hoody. . .. clothes are way cheaper here in hong kong. . . and they have a lot. . . so maybe i'll jsut go all out during my last week here, money's meant to be spent ;) even rhymes. . .
After taking farewell of claire who was heading to her shoot, i headed back home and walked over to the agency to cash out last weeks allowance (Was going to do it last friday, but we had a typhoon warning 9 goin on so. . . that wasn't possible). As usual they complained about my tan. . . same thing in singapore. . .. i can't help it. . . . you guys know how it is hehe ;)
After the short visit i headed back to cannon street and wandered about for a while looking for a backpack. . . still haven't settled for one :P But i like a Dakine one, which would be nice during snowboarding as well.
After walking around for a bit i headed back home to fill my facebook with all the photos we've been taking during the past few days, so check it out ;)
Well. .. . now claire's come back and we're waiting till about 8.30 which is when we will be heading to Dragon I for free dinner and a bit of wine, don't think it'll be a big one but ya never know ;)

Aaaaw i've actually missed the entire Olympics. . . only thing i saw was the ending. . . we haven't really figured out the television in our apartment hehe, which is just as well, i mean we're not here to watch television ;)
I did hear sweden did good though, and i shouted out when i saw the swedish flag in the sportsbar during the ceremony hehe
Haha yes, i do find myself often wondering where would i rather be? In the shifting weathers of sweden or in the blazing heat of asia?. . . . .. i'm actually pretty sure i'm more for the cold hehe, although it is true, even i get aches everynow and then hehe ;)

Typhoon 9. . . . I can sit at home and do nothing without feeling anxiety. . .

Hellooo!
Well. . . nothing is going to happen today since there is a Typhoon 9 blowing outside. . . so all shops and activities are closed. . . aside from 7-eleven which is open no matter what.
At least i can tell you about yesterday night.
Claire and I met up after i had written my previous post, we walked around causeway bay for bit, looking for closed shoes for Claire so that her feet don't get trampled at the concert.
After a while I ran back upstairs, packed my stuff and headed off, together with Claire, to H&M in Central.
We continued looking for shoes, and eventually found a cheap pair of white ones, at this point i took farewell of her and left her in H&M for my casting.
The Casting was for Bally in Ocean Centre, TST mtr station. . . .don't know the full name of the mtr station i think it's something like Tsim sa Tshui or something hehe
After wandering about in an underground passageway, backtracking many times. . . freaking confusing, I finally came up to street level. . . Still lost though, i eventually just chose a direction and starte walking that way. I do this when i'm lost. . . and 9 out of 10. . . i always choose the right direction hahaha, today was no exception.
Sure enough i came to a street i recognized and just followed it to Ocean Centre!
Before walking up to the office levels, i went to the bathroom and changed into my black shirt . . . so to seem a bit more presentable hehe.
I got upstairs, met the client, who was a happy and very friendly little woman. Apparently there had been some mix up with the clothes, so she said she'll just have to take pictures of me with what i was wearing instead of me wearing their products. She said i looked good though, so hopefully i had chosen clothes that remotely resembled "Bally" hehe.
After the photos she took with a normal digital camera, i headed back to the bathroom (I've learnt to go to the disabled toilets, because the men's room usually needs a key :P) and changed back into my t-shirt.
I now began to rush home because time was running short.
Once back in Causeway bay i met up with Claire again, we walked around trying to decide what to eat and eventually chose a cheap. . . a bit haggard assed sushi place. We went through 8 plates before we rushed off to 7-eleven and bought some breezers to consume before the concert.
at 7pm we rushed downstairs and grabbed a cab to the concert. . . . we came maybe 5 minutes late. . . which meant absolutely nothing because they didn't start playing until 8.45. . . 45 minutes later than what the ticket stated. . . . we could've taken it easy and taken the mtr. . .
The concert was pretty pathetic and sad to be honest. . . . .not many people at all. . . barely any in fact . . .we felt kind of sorry for the band, because in australia the tickets had sold out instantly. . . here the place was almost empty hehe.
The crowd was shit as well, no one was jumping. . . no energy :P
Eventually Claire and I decided to walk back a bit to where there were no people at all and we just danced and ran around on that space. . . never before have i felt like such a hippy, but we had so much fun haha, the "big" crowd was infront of us and we were alone on a huge open space just doing our thing haha.
After the concert we grabbed an icecream each and headed to mcdonalds. I ate a Big n Tasty supersized menu, and claire leached off my coke and french fries.
After the meal we headed home, i put on the movie "Dogma" and we watched it till we fell asleep.
This morning we lay in bed for several hours before the alarm clocks started ringing. Claire has a show today at 11pm, for Gucci.
Call time however was 2.30 pm.
So at 12.30pm the alarms went off, at 1pm we got out of bed and got ready, at 1.15pm we headed outside to scout for food. We ended up eating japanese again, this was a finer japanese restaurant though. . . . which was actually cheaper than the crap we ate yesterday haha.. . . well now we know!
At around 2pm i followed Claire down to the MTR, took farewell of her and headed back up to street level. My plans were to go to the agency, grab my weekly allowance of 700HKD, then head to the gym. . . .. . but seems my plans are foiled. . . it's a Typhoon 9 warning which is pretty damn strong so everything is closed. . . . .
It's wierd though, we haven't felt any symptoms of a typhoon, aside from the fact that it's raining a bit and there are barely any people out on the otherwise overpopulated stressy streets outside our apartment.
I wasn't ready to head back up to the apartment because a song i liked was playing in my mp3. . . . so i thought i'd head down to the main road closer to the water and see if i could see any symptoms of the typhoon.
Sure enough, it was blowing a LOT more down there, i think trees had fallen as well. . . but it wasn't as bad as i thought, maybe we're on the wrong side of hong kong hehe, i guess i should be thankfull ;)
Was nice seeing a bit of a storm though hehe, extreme weathers interest and excite me. . . they always have.
The police have cut off areas on the streets because byggnadsställ might fall down and kill people. . . haha
Well. . . . now i'm back up in our apartment. The time is 3.30pm. . . i don't know what to do. . . i think i might switch on a movie and just chillax. . ..

I'm having a blast, and i'm now trying to decide when to head back to singapore, either october or november. . . i can't decide yet because i want to know what the market here is like during september. . . if there is more castings then maybe i'd like to stay longer. .. but right now i'm just loosing money hehe.

Hahahahahha whoooooa, just read through the whole computer ordeal. . . . . it's never simple is it? Always has to take ages and eons of frustration. . . . and tears. . . . and fists against walls, wood, legs, tables and cushions hehe
Fortunately i can't say i've had any problems with my lovely laptop yet, it's been a while since i've experienced that pain haha, i'm glad for that!
