The Agency

Hey Heeeey!
Well, today is wednesday, yesterday was teusday. Wednesday has just begun so let's talk about yesterday.
Like i mentioned already, Claire left early in the morning at around 9pm, which is also when i decided to write the first blog post from hong kong. After that however, i went back to bed and unfortunately slept till 1pm hehe. . . I didn't want to sleep because i was so excited and anxious to go out into hong kong again, and see more. Sleep however, managed to conquer my anxiousness. . .
After getting ready and giving the agency a call, i headed out to a fast food place called "Farewood" or "Farewell" or something, it's like the asian Mc Donalds. Instead of burgers you get chicken, rice, noodles, pork, etc. . . . the portions however were rather tiny, but i'd liek to become a stammis at this place haha it's so convenient, i did however see another place suitable for everyday lunch, i'll report back when i've tried it out ;)
After the chicken wing in pork noodle soup i took the always crowded mtr to Causeway Bay.
I had earlier that day studied a map on the internet and tried to memorize it, because i lacked a pocket map (Which i now have purchased).
My memory however has never really been top notch, so i did quite a bit of walking before i found the agency.
I took an elevator up to the 16th floor (I love the abundance of giant buildings they have here in hong kong).
My plan was to go to the bathroom first and perhaps fix my hair and tidy up a bit first, but as soon as i step out of the elevator 5 bookers look at me and i'm already half way into the agency haha.
So i present myself, and get introduced to the people that work there, i can remember "Angelyn" and "Sarah". . .. that's 2 out of 5. . .. memory of a goldfish when it comes to names.
They seem like a pleasant bunch, but perhaps it's just me, but i don't feel the same warmth i did with the singapore group. . . . well i'm going to meet them today again so we'll see, i probably just have to get used to them. (However, i know it's not going to be the same. . . the first few weeks in singapore i pretty much spent most of my days just hanging around in the agency because i had no one else to be with, but now i have Claire so i'll have better things to do haha)
I miss my singapore agency. . .
Well i was told to sit down (They seemed like an energetic and happy group though, so like i said, i think it's just to get used to them) and fill out my contract.
I read through the contract carefully ofc ;)
After that i was to be measured by one of the bookers.
Finally it was time for them to take some mugshots.
I walked into a room with one of the bookers, and it was like a casting, they take pictures of you in every angle.
I took farewell of the agency, i got a haircut booked today at 2.30pm (At my request) and after that i'm to report back to the agency.
So back to yesterday, after my first visit to the agency, i rushed back to causeway bay mtr exit A, which is where i told Claire to meet me.
She had been at 2 castings and 1 photoshoot.
I waited a while for her, and eventually she arrived.
We sat outside a while deciding what to do. While we were sitting outside, 2 people from a production company came and gave us their card, they wanted us to be in a camera commercial, i told them they'd have to go through our agencies, so they took our names and agencies haha
Finally Claire and I decided to head back to the studio apartment and either sleep or watch a movie.
Before we returned home however, we stopped at Farewell! haha we ordered, some kind of sausage, a chicken wing and pork noodles.
Poor Claire is allergic to god knows what, one of her allergies are beef, and another is wheat.
So i chowed down on the sausage, not knowing whether it was beef or not, and Claire ate the pork in the noodles.
The noodles however she couldn't touch because it looked like wheat, and the chicken wing. . . she didn't wanna touch cause it looked wierd. . . . i ate it though. . . haha
We then headed over to her agency which is just a short walk from where we live.
After she had picked up a job voucher we headed to a supermarket and bought water (I almost died this morning waiting for the water i had boiled to cool down), ribena, chips and some soaps.
Well back in the apartment, she decided she didn't want to sleep so we switched on a movie instead .. . ofc i chose the most retarded movie i have on my computer, which happens to be "Hot Rod" hahaha
So for the next 2 hours we just lay around in bed watching the movie.
Afterwards we lay around in bed for some more time, until finally it was time to head to Dragon I for a "Special" model's night.
Why it was special? Becuase they were serving Beef steak to us mwaha.
This time it was only me and Claire sitting at a table for two, it was nice and the food was great.
Sushi, Dumplings, garlic broccoli, misou soup, salmon and beef steak! I was STUFFED afterwards.
We also enjoyed 2 glasses of wine before we headed home.
We managed to get home at around 10pm!
This morning i first awoke at about 5am, because Claire had to leave for Maccao (An island off hong kong packed with casinos), she had a job and wont be back till 5pm today.
I myself?. . . well i'm still in bed. . . . i have to go now though hahaha, going to meet Boon Ching from singapore as well!
Hope all is well with you all!

/Alex

PS.
I have to run, but i've read your comments :D I'm glad to hear from you all, i love hong kong, i miss you all very very much, i have made the text one size bigger (Tell me if it's still too small) and i'll send Claire your regards haha ;)
Lots and lots of love

Now you have to learn cantonese or possibly mandarin in order to make yourself understood - when I stayed in Hong Kong I learnt how to say may adress in chinese in order to make the taxidrivers think I was chinese and knew my way around. During the trip while they were talking I used to say aja every now and then. It worked quite well, did not get cheated too often. In Hong Kong they take you for a ride if they can, especially if they see you are a tourist (not only the taxi drivers will cheat you) - so learn a couple of chinese words as soon as possible and pretend to be chinese.
Sounds like you have a great time getting free dinners and drinks. Best reg

Hi Mr Cradle snatcher, Alex the Man,
I heard Claire is only 17 years old, a minor. Aja Baja!

She is allergic to what God knows made me think of your father, Kim, Gabriella and Greta. I know many other people who are suffering from allergy, feel sorry for them.
One of your Godmothers, Marie, also is allergics.
I used to be allergic, also, to beautifull young girls. This kind of allergy is, supposedly, a Japanese national disease. Not that I used to forget I am a married man. How can I forget that? your grandmother, 6-10, Tessa, all of my grandchildren are ardent believers of freedom of speach, the louder the better, never missed even a tiny, tiny happenning to critisize me loudly? Just attracted, looked at them at a distance, that's all.
Didn't Claire say anything when you came out from passport control with that female model you were sitting next to her with seemingly high lighted moode?
An very old man with a life long experiences advise you "concentrate your attention on your girlfriend".

I am amazed to read that you have a great luck or talent to get free dinner with a lot of alcohol, in Hongkong often double portion when your lady is allergic to many kinds of food. You just grab her portion.

Are you still interested in Japanese lesson?

Oyasumi nasai.

Grandmother sends you her best regards. She is shuttling between here and Sthlm for renovating windows at GamlaStan together with that Estonian, furthermore, in the last a couple of evenings, was busy with socializing with your sister, her friend(a nice half Japanese girl speaking better Japanese than my grandson) and Gabby.
